Modelling with wood is a time honoured activity which ignites a love of crafting and carpentry in children and it all begins with simple, inexpensive materials such as lollypop sticks, matchsticks and glue. Designs can be as simple or as complicated as you and the child decide and the result of your endeavours will always be creative and useful. Build birdhouses, models, decorations but always inspire your child and help build motor skills, perseverence and logical thinking.
